I have just spent one week with other two families, total 12 pax, in this house, I will tell my experience:

LOCATION, the house is very close to... read more a main motorway son you¨ll have 24 hs. of traffic noise, it was quite annoying for us, mainly from the garden. I found it well located, outside Marbella city ,beside a golf camp , but with quick access for shopping and visiting, however the closest beach (trocadero arena) is probably the worst of Marbella.

HOUSE, it is not an independent “villa” but the lowest flat of a building so you will have neighbors above , you can be seen having sun in the garden, this was our case, it has a lateral steep stair we found hard to climb.

It needs to be painted , mainly the corridors with a lot of stains and some humidities

The house is big enough for 12 people , it has plenty of space, 4 rooms with AC ( one with no wardrobe) and a fifth one beside the kitchen with less privacy and no AC and with a fridge and a drying/washing walking machine inside¡¡¡

The best part of it is the big garden with barbacue and big swimming pool with good views of the mountain, but the traffic noise didn’t let us enjoy it properly.

The kitchen is out of date and was not properly equipped , no accessories enough such as grater, strainer, film, paper, bad non-stick pans, … and an ancient brush (we were asked to use a vacuum cleaner)

The clothes line is wrong located beside the barbecue and it caused oxide stains on our clothes with two white shirts useless.

One of the main rooms doesn’t have a blind son we had to use a bed sheet instead of it.

The electrical fuses were frequently collapsed, we had a professional in our group that fixed it but he says they get very hot with the consequent risk of fire.

The gardener left the water treatment machine upper front badly closed with the consequent risk of falling for our kids.

We had a lot of flies in the main room coming through the WC air ventilation conduct

CHECK IN, we were asked to check-in 1 hr. earlier and we accepted, we were received by a big mountain of dirty bed clothes from the previous guests in the main entrance and it remained this way in a small room all our stay.The cleaning was not good enough from our point of view.

The most unpleasant thing for us is that when, on the third day , we tried to open the garden umbrella it had several barillas broken (we should have communicated it at this moment but wd did it before check-in ) and now the owner is claiming us 120 euro to pay for a new one.

The best thing for us was the attention given to us by Alicia, the house keeper, always available to help us when asked.
